DIY Made to Measure Shade Sails

If you're happy to measure up and install a shade sail yourself, but you can't find the size you need on our website, this new option may be perfect for you!

As well as requesting a shade sail in most shapes and sizes, you can also choose from:

- 2 Different materials with UV Protection

- A variety of colours for each material

- Straight or curved edges 

Whilst we offer a range of shade sails in different shapes and sizes, sometimes they aren't quite the right fit for your garden, outdoor area, or conservatory. Therefore, we have now introduced a made to measure service with a partner manufacturer, for any shape you require.

There are several options available, so you just need to fill in the form at the bottom of this page and provide us with the measurements you need, so we can send you a quote. Once an order has been received, the customised shade sail will be made to your specifications, and should be delivered within 7-10 working days.

Options Available

Edges

The sails are available with either concave edges and D rings in each corner (Like the Shade Sails in the main picture), or with straight edges and eyelets in each corner and at regular intervals along each edge. Flat edges and eyelets are not suitable for corner only fixing - all eyelets musty be used to install the sail.

Material and Colours

Option 1: 200GSM Waterproof polyester material available in several different colours - Ivory, Yellow, White, Anthracite, Silver Grey and Terracotta. This material is also UV resistant by up to 98%.

Option 2: 180GSM HDPE available in Beige, Cream, Blue, Anthracite, Green, Red, and Black. HDPE lets water through, but is UV resistant by up to 98%, and can handle extreme weather areas better due to the ventilation in the material.

Please note that the actual colours may vary. This is due to computer monitors displaying colours differently and everyone can see these colours differently.

How to work out what size you need

The made to measure shade sails are still aimed at the DIY market, so we are unable to give installation or design advice, however, we have an Installation Guide available on our website, which details how to measure up for your shade sails, suggests fixtures you can use, and provides information on angling and tensioning the sails for rain runoff.

Please take a look at this first to help make sure that any measurements you provide are correct and take into consideration any fixtures you are planning to use. When providing measurements for sails with concave edges, you will need to make sure the measurement includes the D rings in each corner.

As these are customised sails, we also need to make you aware that these sails cannot be returned if the wrong size is ordered.
