Backdrop for Barbados but in Australia - confused?

White Shade Sails provide protection to a fantastic space

Whilst on holiday in Port Douglas, Northern Queensland, Australia it was clear that shade sails are just part of everyday life.  It was hard to find a hotel, bar or restaurant with outdoor space that didn't have some form of architectural but essentially protective shade sail installed.  The weather is both hot and very wet, so waterproof and lighter colors such as white were in abundance.  Our favorite (we don't really like to pick one but we did have a particularly enjoyable evening drinking cocktail here) was the Barbados Bar situated on the Reef Marina.
